  • Draft your own trouser pattern using the appropriate size block.
  • Sew a calico fitting sample to check fit and construction.
  • Draft and sew inseam pockets.
  • Draft and sew curved front pockets.
  • Draft and sew welt pockets.
  • Construct a professional fly-front zip.
  • Draft and attach a waistband.
  • Use an industrial blind hem machine for a professional finish.
  • Sew a custom-fitted pair of trousers in your own chosen fabric.

Materials

  • Calico for the fitting sample is provided.
  • Students bring their own fashion fabric for the final pair of trousers.
